In honor of the The Good Shepherd opening this weekend, I thought it was finally appropriate to post these. Just over a year ago, my husband and his bro got to meet Matt Damon as they were shooting a scene for The Good Shepherd. This all happened right outside my bro in-law's apartment. He woke up one morning to a bunch of trailers, old cars and a huge crew. Just so happens, on said morning, my husband decides to go into the city for a visit, something he never does). Meanwhile I decide to go to the mall, something I always do. This turns out to be the worst decision I ever make!! At first they didn't know what was going on - if it was a movie or what. They get the character's names off the make-up trailer and imdb them, and whadda ya know...Matt Damon just happens to be one of stars. They wait around a bit and Matt finally comes out from lunch. Apaprently he was super nice and chatted for a minute, signed some autographs and took some pictures. I've cropped out my husband and bro in-law just because they might kill me if they found themselves online one day.
