So over the weekend my husband, his buddy and I were eating outside at a restaurant near our apt in San Francisco. At the end of our meal we saw Owen Wilson walking into the bar we were heading next. About 5 minutes later, Kate Hudson also walked by and into the same bar!!! (She looked amazing, by the way.) We then go the check and went to the bar to try to find Owen and Kate, but it was just him and her shopping bags. She was no where in sight, maybe slipped out the back? My husband ended up buying him (and us) a few shots to do together, complete with group cheers!!! He was totally nice and cool, very low key. My husband chatted with him the whole time on topics from jogging to baseball.
This is my husband and Owen (I feel like we are on a first name basis with him now). Since he seemed to be enjoying being incognito at the bar (no one else noticed him), we didn't want to blow his cover by taking a lot of pictures.
...The only thing is that now we both have major crushes on him

You know, I haven't ever had a celebrity sighting myself, but it seems to me that in most of the "fan pics" I see, the celeb is never smiling! They always look like they're in mid-sentence, or totally surprised by the camera. You'd think after all the time they spend in front of a camera, they should have the timing down a little better and get that smile in there!! Yeesh! But I'm glad that he was so cool... He's a Texas boy, so I'm happy to know he remembers that southern hospitality! Oh, and I agree, the hubby is a total hottie! Kudos to you for nabbing him!
