Just so you know, I have no recollection of this (my parents always told me this story about when I was around 4).

I had just come from my friend's birthday party so I had lots of fancy face-paint on, and I was eating at some Italian restaurant in Malibu. Dick van Dyke was sitting at a table nearby and asked me if I was in a play (because sometimes actors act) and I got really upset, because a) my parents had told me not to talk to strangers, and b) I WASN'T in a play.
