Was having dinner and drinks in a restaurant in Venice Beach July 4th weekend. This was a couple of weeks prior to Kate leaving her husband for Owen. You, Me & Dupree was just about to open so seeing Owen and Kate out together didn't faze any of us.

After the news came out about the two of them it became obvious after the fact, that they didn't go outside together. They walked to the door at the same time we were leaving but Owen stayed inside and Kate walked out. As she was waiting for her car I introduced myself, and she looked me right in the eye with the sweetest smile and sincerely said, "it is nice to meet you". She couldn't have been a nicer person and was glad to have a picture taken with a fan.

It's too bad more celebrities aren't as sincere and approachable to the ones who pay for their lifestyles!
